Anyways... I am currently in the middle of a fanfic and it may take me a while to read because I've been so busy. So until then, here are some book recommendations. Enjoy!
- As embarrassed as I am to say, I've just recently read the Sookie Stackhouse series. (Well the first 5 books anyways!) I know like everybody has read it, but I'm going to throw it out there just in case! As most of you know HBO's Tru Blood is based on this series by Charlaine Harris. It is an 11 book series and so far, it's fantastic. I'm usually reading three or four books/stories at a time, but Sookie seems to be taking all of my attention. There are 10 books in the series, although I believe a new one is set to release in May. You can find the list here.

Summary: "Sookie Stackhouse is a cocktail waitress in small-town Louisiana, but she keeps to herself and doesn’t date much because of her “disability” to read minds. When she meets Bill, Sookie can’t hear a word he’s thinking. He’s the type of guy she’s waited for all of her life, but he has a disability, too–he’s a vampire with a bad reputation. When one of Sookie’s coworkers is killed, she fears she’s next."
- I'm only on the third book in this next series, but it's great so far. It's more adult than the other books I've recommended and is somewhat anti-vampire! It's the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton. She is a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author for good reason! I love the way she writes. There are 18...yes 18 books in this series. You can find the book list here.
Summary: "The series takes place in a parallel fantasy world where vampires, shape shifters, werewolves, faeries, etc. exist. Her night job, and primary source of income, is the legal profession of re-animating the dead. As an "animator" in a parallel St. Louis, her job entails using magical abilities to bring temporary life to dead bodies in order to question them for legal purposes. She is also a licensed vampire hunter/executioner.In her world this profession involves tracking down and killing vampires who have murdered humans. A strong protagonist in the series, Blake is very direct, flippant, and highly competent in the professions she is involved in. She is trained in judo, kenpo and knows how to use several weapons, but is most efficient with guns. But what happens when Anita finds herself falling for someone she has sworn to kill?"
